Source Mod Progress: Combat Showcase

Hello! I've been working on this mod for the Source Engine for a while, and figured it'd be best to show off my progress in its making. Changes shown in this video (in order): 0:07 - Viewmodel tilt based on player speed 0:08 - Revamped impact effects with custom dust spritesheet 0:09 - Blood effect improvement (mostly human so far, planning on doing zombies/aliens later on) 0:10 - "First" firing sound for automatic weapons, plays when fired for the first time in a burst 0:11 - Muzzle and shell ejection smoke and flash effects for weapons 0:12 - Particle system-based explosion effect 0:22 - Pulse Rifle accelerates firing rate during use to make for a more unique experience 0:28 - Particle effects for breaking supply crates with custom packing peanut texture and unique sound 0:47 - Combine Soldiers given the ability to jump (will be toned down later on) 0:54 - Crowbar deals damage multiplied by player speed to make it more viable later on in the game 1:06 - Punchier flesh hit sounds to allow for better feedback Not shown/momentarily seen: -Dlights for muzzleflashes to replace elights -Semi-working Physgun reimplementation (probably won't be used in the mod, only there for modding purposes) -Reduced friction when crouching - rudimentary sliding mechanic
