Part 3: We wanted to get a vinyl compilation of all this activity out to show that Ottawa was at least as productive and interesting as Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver, so parallel studio recordings during the day took place at Double Helix Studios in Larrimac near Wakefield. As the successful Toronto and Montreal acts arising from all these new stimuli and technical price reductions in recording began to come to Ottawa to play, we were startled to find their level of appreciation for the integrated studio/live approach as a family of related artists that we were trying to create.
