Scan a Text Searchable PDF on your ImageRUNNER Advance Photocopier
Did you know that your ImageRUNNER Advance photocopier may be able to use OCR (Optical Character Recignition) to create a text searchable PDF file when scanning your hard documents? This means your files can be scanned and then you can copy and paste text from the scanned document as well as search for text in the document. The process to scan using OCR is quite easy. 1. Load your document into the document feeder 2. Select Scan and Send 3. Select File Fomat (Usually by default it will be PDF (Compact)) 4. Select OCR 5. Choose the langauge 6. Click OK 7. Choose the destination 8. Press start This will now scan the file using OCR on the photocopier and you will recieve a full text searchable PDF file to your choosen destination.
