The Age of Nicholas II, Part 2. Was Lenin a Marxist?
This is part two of the examination of the Age of Nicholas II, Russia's last Tsar. Russian political parties are discussed here, especially the Bolsheviks and the Mensheviks, i.e. Russian Social Democrats, as well as the Party of Socialist Revolutionaries. I argue here that Lenin was not a Marxist and made two substitutions later known as Marxism-Leninism. He reversed stages of history by creating a Socialist government and changing society and then he substituted the power of the working class with his own power in the name of workers.
