RJG In-Die Sensors Create Consistent Injection Molded Parts | Infinity Molding | Mt. Vernon, IN

Using in die sensors create predictability in injection molding. We use the best in the industry in order to stop jams and parts out of tolerance. Infinity is the Medical Molder that has the largest class 8 clean room in the mid-west for medical device molding, packaging and assembly of medical disposables or durable products. In our Class 8 clean room, we injection mold thermoplastics using Engel 110 ton all-electric presses equipped with Staubli 6 axis robots and a 35 ton Mitsubishi electric press with a Yushin robot. Capabilities of our cleanroom facility include custom injection molding, assembly, pad printing, final pack, sterilization protocol management and fulfillment. The 3 total electric molding machines are equipped with robotics along with “on site” particle-count monitoring which makes this facility a strong choice for customers seeking state of the art cleanroom molding and manufacturing. Additionally, one machine is specified with a high torque motor and high-output heater band to give it the capability of easily processing high heat materials. Current product mix includes diagnostic meters and strips, surgical pump components, drug delivery components, cardio monitor assemblies, surgical accessories, optical scan products, and orthopedic components. Defining the critical dimensional requirements combined with an acute understanding of the molding process delivers a tool with integrity that meets our customer's needs. By doing this we can assist with Design for Manufacturing (DFM). Tool Shop Infinity Molding & Assembly maintains a fully staffed tool room with full time journeyman toolmakers and technicians. The shop is 4,000 sq ft and is primarily for engineering changes, repair and preventive maintenance. Additionally, we have developed close relationships with multiple tool sources in the local area. Infinity has also worked with international tool sources and takes full responsibility for managing the tooling process. EDM, Surface Grinders, Bench Mills, Lathes, Ultrasonic Cleaning, CNC Machining Center and MoldTrac Database are among the many assets our tooling department possesses. AUTOMOTIVE PARTS MANUFACTURING High tolerance injection molding meeting or exceeding our customers' exacting standards. We employ the latest robotics technologies using Yushin, Staubli, Star Automation and Rethink Robotics equipment, and utilize electronic vision and inspection systems to ensure part quality is maintained. CLEANROOM MEDICAL MOLDING Separate 11,000 square foot ISO Class 8 (100,000) cleanroom manufacturing. Our clean room building also offers white room injection molding and assembly for durable and re-usable products requiring ISO 13485 quality systems with assembly areas for assembly, pad printing, final pack, sterilization protocol management and fulfillment.
