Mortal Kombat X: New Patch Update & PC Version of MKXL Coming Soon! (Mortal Kombat XL)
Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon has been teasing some exciting news regarding the future of MKXL over the past couple of weeks. Just this past weekend, Boon decided to run a Twitter poll asking the community what type of "news," we'd want to see for MKX. The options listed were: MKXL on the PC with GGPO, a brand new patch update dedicated to buffing/balancing the roster, and lastly, ESL Season 4 of MKX. Out of all the options, both MKXL on the PC and a new patch update were over 40% in demand, leaving a 4th season of ESL way behind. Thankfully enough, both of the 40% options appear to be happening, as well as even a 4th season of ESL. For weeks we've seen Boon ask which characters need to be buffed and balanced. Not to mention, just a few days ago Boon talked about a new season of ESL after the successful run the 3rd on had on TV. Lastly, the PC version of MKX has been abandoned from updates for months. It would only make sense for NetherRealm Studios to step in and FINALLY deliver something that should've been done ages ago. All 3 of these options make sense to occur. As for when we'll know 110% for sure these things are happening, we'll just have to wait and see. Gamescom is taking place later this month, so we could very well see an announcement regarding all of this there. As for a Kombat Pack 3 DLC, chances are still slim. Though there's a possibility, the amount of chances for one to get announced are certainly on the decline so I wouldn't get too excited. Anyways, what do you all think of this recent poll from Boon?
