iPad Remote test - Oddity 2

I had an idea to make a Synth similar to the Korg Kronos, but would load and play AU/VST softsynths. Yes, I know there's things like Receptor and Open Labs - But have you seen the price?? I've just bought a refurbished Fujitsu Esprimo Core 2 Duo (it will be Hackentoshed), so I'll take out the MoBo, HDD's etc and build it into a case along with a basic 5 octave MIDI controller, load up the VST's and connect via Splashtop Remote (one everything is installed you can disconnect the main monitor used for installing all the software - Spashtop will automatically connect). The reason for doing this, is that hate editing softsynths with a mouse, or trying to remember what control knob I have mapped to what parameter. This will allow me to run all my "Stand Alone" synths with a touch screen interface, and relieve the CPU power needed to run some of them on my main Mac
