S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky - Taking the Bandit Depot

Successfully clearing out the depot and having the Stalkers hold it, which is quite rare. This is the second time this has happened to me, both times it happened almost the exact same way so there may be something to it. Coming into the Garbage from Agroprom, an emission was triggered and I hid in the tunnel. After the emission hit, I started taking potshots at the mutants/dogs (with a supremely worn out rifle) so I could attack the depot from where they were, looking to raid it for some loot to sell. I clumsily killed all the mutants, and noticed there was a group of stalkers nearby moving to attack the depot. They like to rush in guns-a-blazing and get their asses kicked, so I rushed to get in before them and do as much damage as I could to keep them from getting killed. We cleared the place out quickly, in probably the most intense fight I've experienced in this game so far. It was a slaughter, I don't think a single Stalker died. After the last bandit was killed I walked out to see many more Stalkers moving in to inhabit the base, all well equipped, including at least one guy in an exoskeleton suit. I didn't realize it at the time, but if you look at the map when I bring up the PDA before the fight there was actually three squads moving in to attack the depot and this was them coming in just a bit late to the fight. It's possible that they would have taken and held the depot without my help. This happened once before almost the exact same way. I came in from Agroprom, the emission triggered, I hid in the tunnel, then attacked with a squad that spawned nearby. It was just one squad though, and none of us were as well equipped, so two of them died. I stuck with them for a few minutes after, and the Stalkers sent another squad to reinforce the depot. It held for a few gameplay hours no problem. Eventually on my PDA I saw a group of mutants take them out then leave the depot, and since it was empty the bandits spawned back in there. The place kept getting torn apart by the mutants for a while until I went in and cleared them out, then the bandits settled back down there comfortably until this attack. There are a lot more Stalkers there this time with a lot better equipment, so I've got my fingers crossed in the hopes that it might be for good. Keep an eye out for a great grenade kill by the friendly AI around 3:46. I wish the game played like this all the time.
