Today, we will have a look at its Gaming Performance of the Gigabyte GTX 1660 Ti Gaming OC 6GB and see if its the best 1080p Gaming Graphics Card as of 2019. It is a factory overclocked GPU with 6GB GDDR6 Memory and Core Clock of 1860 MHz. The clock speed is 90 MHz higher than that of the Nvidia reference card. This Graphics Card features Gigabyte's 3X Windforce Cooling System which has three alternate spinning fans to offer better cooling. There is also a backplate and RGB on the Gigabyte's logo. We have benchmarked 14 popular games at 1080p to give you an idea of its performance and thermals. This video includes the benchmarks of Apex Legends, Strange Brigade, Battlefield V, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, GTA V, Fortnite, Just Cause 4, PUBG, The Witcher 3, Vampyr, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Far Cry 5, and World War Z. While you have to have to pay a slight price premium for better cooling and RGB, it does makes a lot of difference in the Temperatures. Even at high load, the GPU was peaking just around 70° C with an ambient temperature of 30° C. Also, the noise levels from the fans are negligible. When the GPU is idle, the fans turn off altogether to give an even quieter experience. Though this card is worth the money but if you can increase your budget by a small margin, the Radeon RX 5700 and the RTX 2060 make an even better deal. We believe that this GPU should be good enough to play AAA titles at 1080p High Preset and 60 FPS at least for the next two years. After that, you can either upgrade or play at 60FPS with medium preset. Subscribe to Tech Centurion for more quality content on Computer Hardware, Gaming, and Smartphones.
