In this video, we show you the upcoming generation of the Mercedes Benz GLC. The new GLC has grown in dimension, with futuristic interiors & all-new hybrid powertrains. The changes that can be seen on the outside, are the reworked grille, and bumpers. The headlamps get sleeker DRLs & LED elements. The rear tail lamp is slimmer than before in terms of design. The alloy wheels have also been redesigned and the customers can choose the size of the wheel from the standard 18-inch to the optional 20-inch. In terms of the dimensions, the new GLC is 60mm longer, 21mm narrower, 4mm lower & 15mm shorter in terms of wheelbase. The petrol-electric hybrid variants of the SUV, the GLC200e & the GLC 300e come powered by the 2.0L turbocharged engine. The new generation gets a mild hybrid motor in addition, which helps the SUV now develop 136 HP more than before. The diesel-electric hybrid variants, the GLC220de & the GLC300de use the same 2.0L turbocharged diesel engine as the ongoing model. Similar to the petrol hybrids, the gearbox-mounted electric motor helps the SUV develop 136 HP more than before. These plug-in hybrid variants come with a 31.2 kWh battery pack, which offers a pure electric driving range of almost 120 Km. The batteries support 11 kW charging on AC current & 60 kW on DC current. The GLC gets a completely redesigned interior as seen previously in the new C-Class. The dash layout features an 11.9-inch portrait-orientated infotainment screen and a new instrument cluster layout. In terms of comfort features, the GLC gets a heads-up display, a panoramic sunroof, & a 15-speaker Burmeister sound system.
