Mother Panic Issue #1 (DC's Young Animal) || iRate Reviews

Mother Panic #1 will quickly establish itself as a great read and one of the strongest titles from DC's Young Animal imprint. Subscribe here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1oV7pNnLCgbCq0DT8GjNTQ?sub_confirmation=1 ----- I'm going to start by saying that Mother Panic issue #1 didn't set my world on fire. It's wasn't some blockbuster action movie or a dark and dirty crime book. Is there action? Absolutely and Mother Panic puts boot to face just as well as other Gotham vigilantes. Does it feel dirty? Absolutely and you might want to take a shower once you finish the last few pages. However, this is not about the individual pieces but the sum of those parts and the big take away here is the potential that Mother Panic has. Jody Houser has done a good job setting the stage for this new character to emerge and exist in the world of Batman and it will be interesting to see what comes of that. The crossover potential is amazing and these slightly darker story tones will give the book just enough edge to keep it from feeling like a Bat-book clone. iRate Reviews is the show where I go over specific comic books from my pickup that deserve to be talked about review them in a little bit more depth. This doesn't mean that they are always good though. Some comics are lessons in what NOT to do. ----- Follow on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/DetailComics/ Catch up on Twitter: https://twitter.com/EvolutionOfStan
