I'm playing Genshin Impact! In this open-world, role-playing gacha game that takes place in Teyvet, the traveler goes on a journey to find their sibling and while doing so, encounters many allies and enemies along the way (boring description but I can't think of anything better to say in one sentence). I do want to use Furina in Abyss videos though, so I suppose spoiling my GI on Main is fine (what exact video I pull for Furina should still be a surprise). I've talked a lot about Furina already but those videos will not be publicized until February, so I need to repeat myself here. Initially I thought I'd really like Furina as a playable character because her Skill last forever as long as you refresh it. Considering I have C6 Yae and C2 Raiden, you can tell I value skills that last forever. That being said, the major downside to Furina is that her skill damages your whole team if you use her offensive Skill. While you always have hydro application, you entire team loses health, meaning you'd benefit from a team wide healer (like Barbara). And when it comes to Furina's healing Skill, it is good, but Furina doesn't have team wide healing, which makes her a weak healer in my opinion. I personally think that Furina should be built as either a healer or support. If you build her as healer, she can still do damage with her Skill, but you'd have to switch them often if are running single healer Furina. If you build her as support, she still does heal, but you'd probably just run a dedicated healer along side her, which makes her healing Skill worthless. She is quite the interesting character to team build around. I have her on both my Genshin Impact accounts, and will probably build her a bit differently on both (same as Yelan). Some team ideas I currently have with her is Hyperbloom with Nahida, Shinobu, and Barbara (displayed in this video). With this team, there is always dendro, electro (if your Shinobu is C2), and hydro uptime. As a bonus, Barbara is there to heal everyone up as well as for more hydro application and to buff Furina's Burst. A few other ideas I have with Furina is using her with Hu Tao and Ayaka. Furina can always give hydro for Hu Tao as well as suck her HP, making my Hu Tao do more reaction damage as well as get Staff of Homa Buff. Furina can also give Ayaka constant freezing potential. The only problem I have with both of these ideas is that I don't know what healer to use. Hyperbloom is nice since I am using Barbara anyway for hydro application. But with other teams where there is another character taking most of the field time, how do I heal? I will also use Furina as a main healer. I think she would fit fine with my Raiden Yae team as the solo healer, but that seems like a waste of Furina's potential. Anyways, I do think Furina is going to get better in the future when we get more characters from the pyro region and the cryo region. There is a lot more to say about Furina, but once again, I've already said a lot in some videos coming out in February. P.S. The Furina assets (like the literal assets) are horrible. I couldn't find a whole character portrait PNG, so I had to use an image that has her cowlick cut off and half her legs chopped off. Not only that but her character icon is a blurry mess. The disrespect when it comes to Furina's assets is appalling. I'll try to find a better quality character icon in the future. Thanks for watching!
