Repairing Sammy Hagar's Hybrid LaFerrari

The celebrity owner, Sammy Hagar, wanted to sell his $5M La Ferrari at Barrett Jackson, but a failed hybrid propulsion battery kept the car in limp mode. No battery was available that would allow this car to make the January 2024 auction, and the cost was $300K, and no replacement batteries available. A Hail Mary move was bringing it to Gruber Motor Company, an established engineering lab and Tesla Service Center, and after lengthy reverse engineering - WE FIXED IT. The dream of showcasing the LaFerrari at the prestigious Barrett Jackson January Auction for sale however was scrubbed by a last minute Ferrari verdict, offering to replace the battery entirely citing aging concerns, and wanting the new owner to have a new battery and peace of mind. Sammy's Ferrari will now cross the Barrett Jackson auction in October instead.
