How to add a song to Instagram Reels

Users are encouraged to create short-form video content and share it to their Stories, Feed, and the new Reels tab. There are multiple ways to add music to your Reels. In this video, we demonstrate how to add sounds from Instagram’s music library or upload your own song in Biteable. Adding music to Reels from Instagram’s music library: 1. Open Instagram. 2. Film your Reel or upload a pre-recorded video. 3. Click the “Audio” tab on the toolbar. 4. Browse the music library, or choose from songs you’ve favorited. 5. Once you’ve chosen your song, use the timeline to select a specific portion of your song. One note about Instagram's music library: the music you have access to depends on the type of Instagram account you have (personal, creator, business, etc.). Typically, business accounts have a smaller library of music to choose from due to licensing restrictions. Adding your own music to Reels: What if the song you want to use isn’t available on Instagram? If you own the rights to the music, and have an mp3 file, you can use Biteable to add your sound.
