Painting a 1993 Mazda Miata with Blue Pearl Clear Coat
Neither Chris nor I thought the blue pearl clear coat would change the darker color of the paint. We both expected that the silver racing stripe would show all the blue pearl, but we were wrong. As it turned out, the darker silver color showed all the blue pearl, and the silver racing stripe showed almost none of it! I guess it's just an anomaly of this kind of pearl.
