Battlefield 3 Campaign - First mission - Benchmark with Radeon HD 6870
Setup: XFX Radeon HD 6870 Dual-fan (Driver version 11.10 preview V3) AMD Phenom II X4 955 (OC to 3.8GHz) 8GB DDR3 With fraps recording on = 20-30 FPS (Playable, but with some framedrops) Without fraps recording on = 28-40 FPS (Perfectly Playable, only a few framedrops, none of them are distracting/interrupting) The multiplayer is fully playable with all settings on Ultra 2xMSAA 2xAF SSAO ambient occlusion (Not recording with Fraps) You will have a few framedrops when there are insane explosions, to make sure you won't get these, change your Effects Quality and Shadow Quality to High, this should do the job. The settings I use to play AND record (with fraps) the multiplayer are: All settings on High 2x AF 2x MSAA SSAO Ambient Occlusion
