PINK ANDERSON - CC&O Blues

Pink Anderson was the "Pink" in Pink Floyd. He was one of the blues men from which Pink Floyd got their band name. "Floyd" was Floyd Council. He did not play on this record and he never played on "Pink's" recordings. But Floyd made some recordings which are very rare. If youve ever heard a Blind Boy Fuller song- more than likely youve heard Floyd Council's back-up guitar playing. He played on many of those records. I thought this would be a fun introduction to one of the Pink Floyd namesakes. The song is from 1928. The film is from "The General" starring Buster Keaton.(also from 1928) Keep in mind Buster did his OWN stunts. NO stunt men. The end of the video is a bit of footage of a train from the actual C&O line. This train line was mentioned in a lot of old blues songs.
