DIY Stereo Tubeamp first listening, compare to Yamaha AX 396
The self-made tubeamp was driven by the rec-output of the Yamaha Amplifier - because a phono preamp is required, which is not part of my tubeamp. A 10 minute warmup of this amp leads to more than 70°C. Inside the amp 600V of anode voltage for the KT88s are generated. So there is a high risk of life when trying to rebuild this amp by your own! Unfortunately the phono player is not that stable that an easy switching between both video sequences is possible. Sorry for that... Also the video editing is not my business at all.
