Rand Guitar Restoration: PART 2

1987 Rand Guitar built by Rand Havener restoration. PART 2. The original pickups arrived with new leads. The project will be on standby until mid-June, but there will be VERY exciting news regarding it. In the video I mention finding the nut to 12th fret length at 12.25" - I meant to say 12.75". Basically, you can find any picture of a guitar from the front, and if taken at proper angles, you can expand the picture proportionally until you align it to either 12.75" from the nut to 12 fret (depending on the scale length). You need to use photoshop or some program, draw a 12.75" line, and expand the guitar picture until it aligns with everything. HOWEVER, you must have a good picture with high quality pixels. Most pictures I found of Rands were pretty good, and if it was any other guitar, I would say screw it, good enough - But I think I would maybe get it 90-95% correct, and that doesn't do a Rand guitar justice. You could go even further and make a template if you know how to work vector programming, but I'm not taking it that far. Patience, my friends. More exciting news to come.
