LIVE TEST - Compare CANON LEGRIA HF G10 colours to Panasonic HDC TM900 - TEST
Take the time to compare these two camera's at work. The CANON is filming from the left (= to the right in front of the singer) and the PANASONIC is filming from the right (= to the left in front of the singer). The CANON is showing true colours. The singer is wearing a BLACK jacket. The PANASONIC is showing wrong colours. The singer is NOT wearing a BROWN jacket. Both camcorders have been simultaneously white-balanced before the recordings, so it is strange the PANASONIC is so off-colour. I have since bought a second CANON, to replace the PANASONIC and to avoid lengthy editing sessions to correct PANASONIC's colours when working with such multicam productions. I also find the CANON definitely takes sharper pictures, particularly at night, which is when I do a lot of my filming.
