Windows 10 anniversary update lock screen problems + 30/60 FPS lock fix! "look in the description"
The Windows 10 anniversary update comes with 2 problems that I have experienced. First problem In the previous builds of Windows 10 there was an annoying lock screen that you can dissable so you can directly fill in your password without swiping the lockscreen away. It is the most unnecessary feature that is added in Windows since Windows 8. Second Problem Since the Windows 10 anniversary update I immediatly experienced a wierd screen latency that I have earlier experienced on the game menu of GTA 5 on PC. Now I experienced this wierd behaviour in more games for example CS:GO. Not only was there a screen latency but also a 30 FPS lock in game. I came to the conclusion that the problem had to do with the latest Windows 10 update. Problem fix For my first problem I haven't found a solution jet, but I hope that others will find one soon. The second problem can be solved by going in to the Microsoft Xbox app. When you are in the Xbox app you need to go in the settings tab by clicking on the cogwheel icon. If you are in the the settings menu you must go under the Game DVR tab and dissable it completely. I hope that this solved your problem because it worked for me. BTW If you think that the Game DVR is still usefull please search for another way to share your gameplay moments.
