Fix for Oblivion - Graphics/Ground Problems
***CLICK ON THE 'Show more' TAB BELOW!!!*** -Firstly, supported hardware for Oblivion: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:System_Requirements If you have a newer graphics card and you found it strange that Oblivion would set your graphics quality to 'Very Low', well, that is very strange indeed. :P 1) Click on 'OblivionLauncher.exe' 2) Click on 'Options' then set your Video Quality Presets to 'Ultra High'; click 'OK' *3) For graphics-performance optimization, lower/disable AA (Antialiasing) and/or HDR/Bloom. 4) Start the game. *5) For further optimization, tweak with the graphics options from within the game's graphics menu. -If your graphics card is OLDER than what is supported, give this a try- it's helped many: http://www.oldblivion.com/?page=download *Also, if you get the 'purple ground' and/or a 'map' image on your ground, then you might want to click on the description in this vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDSC_8oCgx4 Feel free to PM me with any questions relating to this.
