Recently, the Union ministry of culture formed a seven-member committee to locate and conserve the grave of Mughal prince Dara Shukoh. It is believed to be located inside the Humayun’s Tomb complex in Delhi. Is there a political purpose behind this decision of the government? After all, Dara Shukoh is seen as a good Muslim by this government and the political forces which props it up.
