Trainz- PRR Fantasy FG1 "10000" tons drag challenge! (Part I/2)
K&L Trainz's product PRR FG1 hauling 9100 tons coal car! Due to technical difficulty, there was some problem to add the load above 9999 tons but we are still working on it! In 1942, the so-called ill-fated PRR Q1 #6130 4-6-4-4 hauling 8000 to 10000 tons during her test run for a few days. It was capable to reach 40 mph with 10000 tons and 123 cars behind her with 40% cull off. The rear engine was prone to wheel slipping but according to the official report, the front engine and driving wheel never have wheel slip problem. So, how about the fantasy FG1 which is base on the legendary N&W Class A? In this video, 2 PRR class I1s 2-10-0 was assigned as helper for starting up until the train reached above acceptable speed. 6 PRR GP-9 (10500hp) was hauling another 9000 tons coal train for comparing. In part 2, you will see the single FG1 and 3 GP-9 (5250 hp) hauling the given weight. The FG1 is a product of K&L Trainz, the GP-9 is a DLC of Trainz.
