Locking the Student iPad app layout in Mosyle Manager
Little update:)—I mentioned a con in the video was that students can’t delete apps they have added, well, that’s not exactly true…they can, but not by holding an app down like normal, they can only in settings at the manage iPad storage section. Good news though, if you have an app profile (or multiple) assigned to the device, those apps still can’t be deleted, even in settings (which is what you want). So basically, if a student adds a bunch of unnecessary apps they can delete them from the device in settings but not from the home screen:) Are you a school media coordinator or tech person that uses Mosyle as an MDM to manage iPads at your school or district? Looking for some tips? Look no further!
