I was inspired to write this song after visiting Sams Club during the peak of COVID. The experience was emotional and overwhelming, and I found myself crying uncontrollably in my car before driving home. It's clear that there is chaos and despair in the world right now, and we seem to have forgotten how to treat each other with kindness and compassion. Death and fear are all around us. This experience gave me the courage to step out of my comfort zone as a writer and singer. I wrote and produced this song from my heart, in my closet.
