Jamuary 02 2022 - MicroFreak, NTS-1, EHX 720, MS-70CDR #jamuary2022
A simple improvised ambient jam featuring the Arturia MicroFreak with the Firmware 4.0 WaveUser oscillator, heavy processed by the Zoom MS-70CDR and NTS-1, looped by the EHX 720 looper. I'm slowly building a loop around A minor, while playing with the different wavetables in the 4.0 WaveUser oscillator. The Zoom MS-70CDR is doing a lot this time. Vibrato, Ice Delay, AutoPan Delay, Chorus, AutoPan, Delay (ping-pong). And then into the NTS-1 for some Cathedral Reverb (free from hammondeggsmusic). Anything will sound lush and sweet through that effect chain. The EHX 720 looper is a faithful companion. Basic and easy to use, rock-solid, with just the features needed from a simple looper. Video is recorded on a Canon EOS M50 mk2 with the included EF-M 15-45mm lens. Audio and video is synchronized in DaVinci Resolve 17.
