Saturn 14 JAN 13, Plus a few DSO's
A quick look at Saturn on January 14, 2013. The seeing conditions were pretty bad and it was very cold, 11'F. Unfortunately I was not able to get a stacked image of reasonable quality, so I did not include one. Also in this video are a few images of DSOs, all taken afocally with my little Canon A470. These images are easily some of the best I've been able to capture thus far. As indicated by the end of the video, some major changes are coming, mostly in the form of new equipment. With these new tools I will be able to take images and video of much better quality, so stay tuned!
