I distract myself with singing when I am stressed. Earlier today, I had two hours to study for a chemistry exam and I was singing, careless whisper, the whole time. I was singing it, humming it, then I finally put on the music for it. I sang with the music, of course. After the song ended, I went back to reading and studying, and shortly after I was singing out loud again while I was studying and reading. And surprisingly, I was understanding everything I was reading. It was a second nature that I was just singing, careless whisper. I found a staircase that led to a door, but the door was locked, and I was sitting all alone at the bottom of the staircase. It was completely secluded, and nobody could see me, but I guarantee people definitely heard me. I doubt I was bothering anybody though, because there are no tables or study spots nearby.
