Blue Ridge Parkway - Craggy Gardens
The Craggy Gardens Picnic Area. We were a little confused because there are multiple mile posts that list Craggy Gardens. Basically, if you are up for a short, but STEEP hike. Stop at the picnic area (MP 367.6). There are bathrooms and a multitude of picnic tables if you want a snack. It took us about 30-40 minutes to walk the trail to the viewing area. We went in early May and there was not much blooming; however, we still really enjoyed the scenery and the trail itself. I did read that this hike is a little easier if you start from the Visitor Center (but not until after our trip😊) https://www.romanticasheville.com/craggy-gardens-trail
