F Zero X Climax: Silver Cup Sensei Deep Claw
A new project of mine called F-Zero Fridays where I upload one video from the F-Zero Series every Fridays. Reviving F-Zero X Climax which was developed by fellow F-Zero racer Phillippe Brodier for F-Zero Climax's 10th anniversary. This game contains new challenging tracks all from Climax but designed for the F-Zero X engine and the difficulty increased making this a challenging but rewarding version of the game. The Silver cup consists of the following tracks. Red Canyon: Barrel Roll (Bronze Master Circuit 1) Lightning: G Trace (Bronze Master Circuit 3) Mist Flow: Double Link (Silver Novice/Standard Circuit 3) Fire Field 2: Front Line (Silver Novice/Standard Circuit 4) Red Canyon 2: Inside Out (Silver Novice/Standard Circuit 2) Silence: Nightmare (Silver Novice/Standard Circuit 5) The AI difficulty is dependant on the track chosen as they replace the F-Zero X tracks it was designed for. Octoman hasn't had much luck in this part, stealing classic cars to earn a living and fibbing to his fellow Takorans about his racing exploits. Yet the one time he wants things to go his way, it happened in episode 24 where by more luck than judgement he wins a race, pays off all the debts (except Zoda's!) and gives the rest to his people. For once, consistent with the games. Deep Claw is great fun to use and worked well here, once I managed to get control of it!
