Winter Chronicles: Mask Orders, Perfect Holiday Gifts
Once the pandemic hit, I knew I had to develop some sort of protection to keep our kids dancing safely. Although, we still aren't allowed to hold classes indoors, I continuously tested different mask patterns on the market which didn't work for dancers. I needed to create something that would withstand high intensity and rapid movements such as executing fast chaine turns. I also have many students dancing with glasses which tend to fog up while masked, so I had to figure out a way these masks wouldn't interfere with their dancing. I've tested it on even my tiniest of dancers (2 year olds) and they were able to last and entire class without touching their mask at all! As for myself, since I do so much talking throughout the day, I had to design something that wouldn't get sucked in to my nose and mouth which happens often with your typical mask pattern. In addition, as I watch YouTube vloggers travel and speak with their mask on, they often have to readjust and the material gets sucked into to their mouth preventing clarity in their speech. I've been wearing my own mask everywhere I go and sometimes I forget I even have it on due to it's comfortability and I've finally designed a mask that I'm confident in selling. To order your own, please visit my Etsy shop: projectinterlace To stop the spread so we can get back to some sort of normal again, please love and respect everyone by staying a safe distance and mask appropriately! Thank you for all your love and support! C-oNe
