Road to Victory

Location: Museum of the Great Patriotic War (Moscow, Russia) Opening date: 09 May 2015 In 2015 Sila Sveta was commissioned to produce a permanent installation in The Museum of the Great Patriotic War in Moscow. Projection mapping installation dedicated to the 70th Anniversary of the Great Victory is covering all the major milestones of the four-year war: every day the huge dome of the museum becomes a canvas for the multimedia performance named "Road to Victory". A complex hardware installation features 20 large scale projectors, hundreds of meters of cabling and wiring, and a custom media playback system. We needed to place hardware not interfering with the building’s remarkable architecture, making the project even more challenging. We also developed controlling software for the installation which allows the museum’s staff to manage the content from mobile tablet computers at any time. Executive Producer: Alexey Rozov Creative Director: Alexander Us Art Director: Ilya Balakin Producers: Alexander Us, Denis Astakhov Project Managers: Ekaterina Rezvova, Alexander Cherstvov System Architect: Dmitriy Napolnov Supervisor: Vitaly Babich Screenplay: Alena Barkusevich Concept Artists: Adeliya Koldarova, Polina Sukhanova CG Artists: Daria Shurkina, Arthur Kondrashenkov, Alexey Churochkin, Denis Sidorenko, Oleg Barankin, Maxim Rudakov, Filat Matveev, Vlad Kiselev, Vitaliy Zykov Music and SFX: SLAP Video Engineers: Denis Akopov, Maksim Tulin Technical Director: Sergey Zakharov Design Engineer: Vladimir Popilin Installation: Mursal Mamedov, Yuriy Volodkin, Igor Reznik, Michail Portnov, Evgeniy Ivaschenko, Ivan Rogov, Michail Churbakov, Fedor Selin, Pavel Ivaschenko, Dmitriy Lobov Aftermovie: Script: Victor Lander Director of Photography: Evgeny Arkhipov AC: Anton Arkhipov Editing: Evgeny Arkhipov
