iPad 2 released today - Long Line At The Apple Store
The iPad 2 was released today, and hundreds of early adopters were lined up to buy the new iPad at the Manhattan Beach California Apple Store. I give my review of the iPad 2 and take a ride by to see how many people are in line. I wonder if the guy at the end of the line will get an iPad 2 or not. The new iPad has cameras front and back. The back camera shoots HD video, and an HDMI adapter is available for the iPad so you can download the video or view it on a big HDTV. The largest version of the iPad only has 64GB, which I think is unacceptable, especially from a company who makes its money selling audio and video content for the device. If I had this iPad 2, I would always be taking music off of it and putting other music on, because I have a lot more than 64 GB, and if I wanted to watch movies, they wouldn't fit. I'd like to see a 200 GB iPad. The iPad 2 is a 3G device, with AT&T or Verizon service. I was disappointed that it wasn't 4G. I have used Verizon 4G on a laptop computer, and it's way faster than 3G. I wouldn't ever want to go back to 3G. Oh, well. Maybe I'll be one of the people standing in line with the 250GB 4G iPad 4 comes out in a year or two. Hope this mini review helped.
