Two Bose S1 Pro speakers and One QSC KS112 sub Demo - Comments at End
#boses1protest #qscks112test #zoomq2n4k #qscks112 #canonvixia #BoseS1Pro #QSC-KS112 #microPA Testing (indoors) the KS112 sub together with two (2) Bose S1 Pro's. Last year I purchased and tested 1 BoseS1Pro with the KS112 Sub and it sounded ok. I really like the smooth sound quality of the Bose, so I purchased a 2nd recently to increase the area dispersion. The 2nd Bose makes a huge difference especially in stereo. This micro PA set up will work nicely for busking (where there is power, for the subwoofer), small socials, cocktail venues, small club performances, or any thing under about 50 peeps for my needs. I play variety of styles (electronic Cumbia, Bachata, Latin Jazz, and some soul/RnB). Seems to work well for these music styles. Indoor testing so far and I’m satisfied with the clarity and balance of this 3 speaker combination. Recorded audio with a zoom camera (Q2n4k) and video with an old Canon Vixia camcorder. Captured the dB sound levels with an iphone App and mixed all the screens into OBS and some post video editing with iPhone using Videoleap app. My signal flow: iphone, lighting dongle with two headphone outputs, two TRS cables, two 1/8" TRS (female) to 1/4" Mono (male) adapters, QSC inputs a and b, QSC output a and b using XLR cables to each Bose S1 Pro inputs. This sound image field was mono from L and R sides. In the future, I will simply connect a TRS Stereo Signal Splitter (Tip/Ring) cable and maintain the true stereo separation. Enjoy!
