Paul Samson - No turning back (UK, 1985)
Samson are among my very favourite bands. Especially with Nicky moore on vocals the band had a very higher level than the most of the bands of the era. They have been many times mentioned as the first band of monsieur Bruce but very few times as a kick ass band that refused to say die and played some of the best rock music ever played. Unfortunatelly the passing of the guitarist and leader Paul Samson ended my dreams of witnessing him and the band on stage and I deeply regret not going to see them live in Germany, mainly because I was broke.... This tune comes from the Joint Forces album credited as a Paul Samson solo album but with Nicky Moore singing to me its just one of the incarnations of Samson. A different song to their "standard" style but surelly a great track. Check it out!
