Good day friends This is your surgeon Dr. Pandiaraja Today we are going to see a case of Left axillary lymphadenopathy The planned procedure is biopsy General anesthesia is preferred Patient positioned in supine position The first step of the procedure 1. Skin incision is made with the help of 15 blade 2. Incision is deepened into skin and subcutaneous tissue 3. Subcutaneous tissue is dissected 4. Dissection is carried out around the lymph node 5. Vessel around the node is coagulated with the help of diathermy 6. Node is separated from the surrounding breast tissue 7. Node is removed after ligating the pedicle 8. Skin is closed with interrupted suture or subcuticular suture 9. Sterile dressing applied 10. Patient is followed up post operative histopathological examination
