FMA Empty Hand Striking Set
This is a compilation of empty hand striking techniques I put together for Middle Way Martial Arts. The first six in the series are my own compilation, while the rest are from Ron Balicki's Filipino Boxing (I do not own any rights to his videos in any way). 1-7: Finger jabs, flicks, and slaps are used to stun opponents temporarily so that you can either run away or throw heavier strikes afterwards. 7-22: These are traditional Western boxing punches. 23-36: These strikes are generally found in traditional martial arts such as Kung Fu and Karate. Note that most of the closed fist strikes may be substituted with an open handed chop. Note: Break the techniques up into groups of six so that they are easier to learn. Begin with 1-6, move on to 1-12, then 1-18, and so on. 1. Finger Jab (lead) 2. Finger Jab (rear) 3. Flick (lead) 4. Slap (rear) 5. Elbow (lead) 6. Elbow (rear) 7. Jab (lead) 8. Cross (rear) 9.
