It's November 2022 Patch Tuesday! Microsoft has released today security updates for all supported versions of Windows, including the brand new Windows 11! If you’re already running Windows 11, version 21H2 on your PC, you should now be seeing the KB5019961 patch waiting for you in Windows Update. The update arrives with security updates and quality improvements! The update is KB5019980 on Windows 11 22H2 and KB5019961 on Windows 11 21H2. Improvements This security update includes improvements that were a part of update KB5018483 (released October 25, 2022). ● It makes miscellaneous security improvements to internal OS functionality. No additional issues were documented for this release. Microsoft is not currently aware of any issues with this update. Today is Microsoft's November 2022 Patch Tuesday, and with it comes fixes for six actively exploited Windows vulnerabilities and a total of 68 flaws. Eleven of the 68 vulnerabilities fixed in today's update are classified as 'Critical' as they allow privilege elevation, spoofing, or remote code execution, one of the most severe types of vulnerabilities.
