The Silos
On behalf of Ymere housing corporation and in close cooperation with project developer Kleinschalig Vastgoed and Inbo architects ULURU developed a plan for a new to be developed residential area in Amsterdam. Destination: Zeeburgereiland which is part of the municipality of Amsterdam. Centre of the area are the silos of a former sewage treatment installation. In our plan the silos function as the central meeting point of the area: a place to meet and an area where residents have the advantage of participating in the development of the area.
