The BIOS ROM chip on most 300- and 400-series mainboards are not large enough to support every available processor and features. As VP discovered when he updated the BIOS on the Asrock B450M Pro4 micro-ATX mainboard to version 3.30, the ability to overclock the Athlon 200GE disappeared.
