Great product - SYBA SATA II to IDE PATA ATA133 Bi-Directional Adapter for 2.5" 3.5" HDD SSD CD DVD SD-ADA50016 Amazon Product Link: Link: http://amazon.com/dp/B002OEBO6E/?tag=thu68-20 Chipset: Satalink Spif223a Supports 3.5-inch SATA and IDE (ATA) Hard Drive; 5.25-inch SATA and IDE (ATA) Optical Drives LED Indicators: Power-On and HDD-Activity Ultra Low Power Consumption Two Independent Ultra ATA Channels with 128/256 Bytes Buffer Per Channel 40 Pin IDE interface Supports SATA Generation 1 with transfer rate up to 1.5Gbps Supports Master/Slave/Cable Select mode by configuration switches Bridges the IDE and SATA technologies together. Allows old IDE HD to be connected to new SATA PC or vice versa. Bi-directional IDE to SATA or SATA to IDE Converter Top reviews from the United States Whack a SATA SSD into your Retro PC! I bought this for an old Pentium II PC in the hope it'd be better than the Compact Flash or SD Card IDE adaptors. I was NOT disappointed. My otherwise useless 30Gb SATA SSD is now home to MSDOS 6.22 and Windows 3.1. Installation was a breeze; BIOS detected the drive fine, DOS partitioned and formatted the disk without a hitch. NB I spliced together a molex to SATA power cable from old spare parts as one isn't supplied with this product and is required if you're using an old PSU.
