Sub $1,000 genome and other goodies for H1 2018: an Oxford Nanopore Tech update, Feb 2018
On 8th Feb 2018, Clive Brown, CTO of Oxford Nanopore, gave an update on Oxford Nanopore Technology. In this update he described the pathway to a sub $1000 genome using the PromethION device, introduced 'Flongle' - a smaller flow cell for smaller experiments and tests, outlined the pathway to very high consensus accuracy, and some other goodies.. watch for more. Flongle, GridION, MinION, MinIT, PromethION, and VolTRAX are currently for research use only.
