iPad 4 Restoration
In this video I replace the glass and battery on this iPad 4 I purchased off of eBay for $40 (well over that now with the replacement parts) I changed the glass first as when I bought it, the glass was coming off and not sticking down. I then realized it was not adhering with the new glass either, so I figured it might be the battery. I checked the battery in 3uTools and low and behold, it had a battery health of just 56%! So it was the battery that was the problem. I ordered a battery shortly after replacing the glass and a few days later, here it is and now it is replaced. While iOS 10 did not have battery health information or the "slowdowns" that iOS 11 did, this iPad was definitely having slower performance due to the low health of the battery. After replacing it though, it is running much faster. If you have an older iPad, the battery is really not hard to replace. Just be careful of the ribbon cables as they are fragile.
