Supplies: 3x3 glass candle holder from Dollar Tree bonding epoxy like Qwikwood or in this case Loctite paint colors : 4 coats of gesso delta apple green base coat with a delta kelly green float americana satin paprika for nose eyes are americana buttermilk, folk are metallic blue pearl and americana raw sienna apple barrel pure silver for bolts cheeks are delta barn red others: white, black, float medium, e6000 glue brushes : large flat for base coats #5 Duncan for scrubbing on cheeks #4 craftsmart loew-cornell brushes: 1/2 inch rake, 3/8 inch angled shader, 10/0 scriptliner and a #2 liner small stylist for dotting Please let each coat dry good before applying next coat. Prep work is so important and time consuming but worth it in the end! Might I suggest a project day where you do nothing but prepping and priming so when you do have an artistic day your projects are all ready for art!
