How I Mix My Pallet, Painting techniques I created this video to demonstrate how I mix my pallet. I learned this pallet from Dorene Terryberry while I was taking lessons from her in Southern California. These are the colors I use for every pallet. Other colors are brought in depending on the needs of the painting. Titanium white Manganese blue Quinacridone violet (or rose) Indian yellow Pthalo green Burnt umber Yellow ochre Cadmium yellow Cadmium red Cadmium orange I am using a Masterson Paint Pallet with a pad of pallet paper. You can put this pallet in the freezer to preserve paint between painting sessions.
