Moog Minimoog Model D Plugin - sound designing from the default patch.
I have a few great sounding Minimoog clones but held back on the Moog Model D as it did not run as a plugin.... moving on a bit, Moog have now updated their apps to run as plugins (yippee), so I just had to try this classic to hear how it sounds in comparison to other emulations and generally as a soft synth. I have had several hardware synths, a boat load of soft synths (the Moog Model 15 also sounds great), had the privilege of playing a Model D for an evening a few years back, so in conclusion I can say that it sounds fantastic! Four note Polyphony and I can run more tracks than I need in Logic. We have it so good nowadays... oh,... and it only cost around £20 if you have the Model D app.
