S19NAL C14AIN ORIGINAL 025: CINEMATIC THEME III (featuring the Garage Band virtual Mellotron)
My most recent pedalboard-to-iRig-to-Garage-Band project: a couple of rhythm figures I came up with in open-G (Greg Bennett Rockwell) propping up my tinkering with the new virtual Mellotron in Garage Band. The first rhythm line is run through my MXR Custom Comp and the second is run through my Moog MF drive. I played the bass line on my MIM Jazz V through the Malekko Scrutator with Way Huge Supa-Puss and Earthquaker Devices Afterneath & Transmisser here and there. All three lead lines were played on my Nashville Tele (Seymour Duncan Hot Rails): the clean one, through my Blackout Effectors Whetstone phaser; the dirty ones, through the Earthquaker Devices Bit Commander. All of the guitar parts routed from the pedals listed through my Malekko Spring. All guitar and bass parts ended up through the Tech 21 Character Series Leeds Sansamp, and then were routed through my IK Multimedia iRig 2 into Garage Band. All virtual instruments were sequenced from scratch with the help of the Korg nanoKEY 2. I experimented a bit more with proprietary effects on these tracks from within the program itself. Thanks for watching! Feel free to like, comment, and subscribe. As always, the copyright for this original music is held by yours truly with all rights reserved, etc.
