I am a self-taught artist. Growing tired of the everyday grind and feeling very passionate about the possibilities of woodworking I struck out on my own and started Knapp Studios in 1988. My greatest focus is on kaleidoscopes. That is how my wife, Shelley and I have been making a living since 1989. I also enjoy working in glass,metal and acrylic. Kaleidoscopes are a natural fit for me because they are multimedia and combine many different skills that I enjoy doing. For me -- to do is to be. :) Thank you for watching.
