How to Avoid the HOA Visual Echo (when making training videos)
Want to Avoid the Visual Echo you see at times when inside a Google Plus Hangout on Air (HOA)?... watch this video to learn how... & visit Ronnie on G+ at: http://goo.gl/9bAxY This tip is not for the Public Video seen when Broadcasting a Hangout on Air but it is for the Trainer/Teacher folks that are trying to show the visuals of the inside of the Hangout on Air Interface. To do this you need to capture your screen with 3rd party software. I use a Mac and Telestream's program called Screenflow. Sometimes when you are doing a screen share inside a HOA and you show your own Hangout Interface, you will get what I am calling "Visual Echo". I have wondered how to make sure that this visual echo does not happen, so I experimented and this is what I came up with. If you are the owner or originator of the HOA, then when you share your screen, you need to let someone else do the talking.
